Kim is a lifelong resident of Haywood County, with a background in manufacturing/supply chain. She has been involved in animal advocacy since 2010, when she began volunteering at the Haywood County Animal Shelter and fostering for Sarge’s Animal Rescue Foundation in 2010. She joined the Sarge’s Board of Directors in 2023, and is looking forward to playing her part in helping to decrease the number of homeless pets in our county while supporting the community. She has always had animals in her life, having had multiple dogs in her home for years. She is now retired and enjoys hiking and gardening, as well as spending time with her grandchildren, and, of course, her dogs.
