Donations of Goods

We appreciate donations of all types!

We use many of the donations of goods that we receive for the animals and people here in our shelter. Other items, such as food and cat litter, go into our community pet pantry for use by animal guardians in the community. Reusable items that cannot be used on site go to our Re-Tail Store at Cornerstone Mercantile to raise money for the animals in our care.

Food

Donations of dog and cat food, wet and dry, are appreciated for our Community Pet Pantry. We provide food and cat litter for the public when we have it available, and donations make this possible!

If you'd like to donate food for the animals at Sarge's, we use Hill's Science Diet for the dogs and cats on site and in foster care.

• Dry Dog Food - Hill's Science Diet Sensitive Skin and Stomach to our dogs & puppies.

• Dry Cat Food - Hill's Science Diet Adult Cat Ages 1-6 and Hill's Science Diet Kitten Food

• Wet dog, cat, and kitten food is also Hill's Science Diet for the Appropriate Species and Age

• Flea medication - Advantage II, Frontline, Revolution, Capstar for dogs and cats.

*No Hartz or Sargeant.

• Heartworm medication - (i.e. Heartguard)

• Pill pockets - Greenies brand preferred

• Zesty Paws supplements

• Native supplements - specifically fish oil and the daily

• Cosequin, Dasuquin, Wellactin
