Emily moved from Maine to continue her rescue work and behavior education in Western North Carolina. Having worked with both owned and rescue animals in both private and shelter settings, Emily has found that her heart belongs in rescue, helping dogs and cats share their personalities and connecting them with their forever homes. Her passion has always been to educating people about dog and cat behavior, and facilitating a better understanding of animal communication. Her goal is to teach animals and their people to work together in order to create an understanding and valuable partnership and to live a fulfilled life together. 

 

When not at work she is active with her 4 dogs, many cats, and foster animals, exploring their new surroundings in WNC!"
