ason grew up in Jacksonville Florida and graduated from the University of North Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Information Science. He later earned his Master’s degree in Instructional Technology from Appalachian State University in 2013.

 

Jason married his high school sweetheart, Jessica. In 2009, they pursued their dreams and moved to the mountains of Western North Carolina. Since 2009, Jason has worked at Western Carolina University as a Learning Management System Support Specialist, Project Manager and is currently the Systems Support Specialist for the College of Engineering at WCU.

 

Jason has been a volunteer with Sarge’s since 2013 and was previously on the Board of Directors from 2016-2021.In his free time, Jason likes to kayak, hike and eat ice cream. Jason and Jessica have two grown kids, Jonah and Julia and one fur-baby, Peaches (“Lorna Doone” was her Sarge’s name)..
