WHAT
WE DO
PROGRAMS & PROJECTS.
Here at Sarge's Animal Rescue, we share a multi-faceted approach to creating sustainable community programs that benefit every animal we bring under our roof, and those in the community.
Rescue and Rehabilitation
We take in homeless animals and give them the physical and mental care they need to flourish in a new home.
Sheltering
We offer shelter to animals without it, and help animals all over the county find homes of their own.
We match great animals with loving, responsible families.
Allows animals to live in homes outside the shelter while waiting for adoption. This reduces stress and helps mitigate many problem behaviors.
Food & Supply Distribution
Providing low-cost spay/neuter surgeries to reduce the pet overpopulation which has created a sheltering crisis across the country.
Wellness Program
Behavior Training and Socialization
Enriching the lives of the animals under our roof and helping to rehabilitate animals with behavior issues to help them adapt to new circumstances.
Thanks to our amazing community donations, we are able to provide much-needed resources to those in need which allows animals to stay in homes longer. Our Community Pet Pantry is open 11-4, Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Includes vaccine and microchip clinics, access to low-cost flea and tick treatment, and emergency veterinary care to the community.
Situations arise when even very loved pets need a new home, and we are here to help! We advertise animals looking for a safe place to land, while they stay in the homes they know. This saves them from the stress of shelter life, and means families can choose their own adopters.
