Hazel is a Western North Carolina native with a deep love for animals, which led her to begin working in animal welfare in 2022. She now cares for dogs and cats daily at Sarge’s Animal Rescue, where her compassion and dedication shine. Hazel is especially excited about the meaningful relationships she builds with each animal, finding joy in earning their trust and watching them thrive. She has a soft spot for goofy dogs—especially since adopting her own pup, Todd. When she’s not at work, you’ll likely find her out on adventures with her fiancé and Todd, creating nature-inspired art, or enjoying the beauty of the mountains she calls home.
