Sarge's 18th Annual Downtown Dog Walk
Saturday, September 23rd - 10 am
Haywood County Courthouse, 285 N Main St., Waynesville, NC 28786
Leash up your favorite pup and support a wonderful cause! Please join Sarge's Animal Rescue Foundation at the Haywood County Courthouse the 18th annual Downtown Dog Walk. Note the new date, September 23rd, where you and your dog can benefit from some cooler weather.
Sarge's is pleased to welcome back 99.9 KISS Country’s Eddie and Amanda Foxx as grand marshals and contest judges. Local favorite MC Jeanne Naber will host the event. Contests will include Best Trick, Best Tail Wag, and Best Costume, so come prepared to show off and bring home the gold (or a squeaky toy)!
Pre-registration for walkers and their dogs will take place September 21 and 22, 12-6pm at Sarge’s Animal Rescue Foundation, 256B Industrial Park Dr. Waynesville. On-site registration will take place at the Courthouse immediately before the parade kickoff, September 23 at 9am. The walk starts promptly at 10am, so come early if you need to register! Registration is $25 for adults, and $15 for children. Each adult registrant may also register one dog. The price of registration includes a Sarge’s Dog Walk T-shirt. Can't get enough of the limited event t-shirts? Additional shirts can be purchased for $20. Registration and t-shirts sales go directly to Sarge's, which has saved 11,500 animals and counting!
As always, lots of paw-tastic vendors will be present, making this a true party! If you are interested in becoming a sponsor or vendor, and getting your name on those famous t-shirts, scroll down below for more information! Be sure to stop by the Sarge's booth for more information on fostering, volunteering, or adopting the coolest cats and dogs Haywood County has to offer.
We hope to see you and your pup there!
We're sorry, the online sponsor/vendor and registration portal has closed.
Already registered? Pick up your shirts at Sarge's between 12 pm and 6 pm September 22nd and September 23rd. Shirts may also be picked up at will call the morning of the Dog Walk.
