Sarge’s Annual Meeting 2020 – POSTPONED

Howard Martin, Haywood County Animal Services Director, will be the guest speaker at Sarge’s Animal Rescue Foundation’s annual meeting Wednesday, March 18, at the Shelton House Barn.
The meeting includes refreshments at 5:30 p.m., with the Sarge’s business meeting and guest speaker from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Martin joined Haywood County after three-and-a-half years of service as the head of Animal Services in Onslow county and a prior career of handling, training and evaluating dogs in the Polk County, Florida, Sheriff’s Department.
The Sarge’s business meeting will include a review of the year and election of new board members. Board president Jed Lambert will report on Sarge’s 2019 progress in saving dogs and cats in Haywood County, as well as review Sarge’s financials and give a preview of events planned for 2020.
The Shelton House Barn is at 49 Shelton St., in Waynesville.
