Join Sarge’s Board of Directors – Help Us Save More Lives!

For 20 years, Sarge’s Animal Rescue Foundation has been rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming thousands of dogs and cats across Western North Carolina. We also help homed animals in the community by offering free and low cost supplies and access to veterinary care. As we look to the future, we need strong, passionate leaders to guide our mission and grow our impact.

We’re seeking active, engaged board members who can bring:

• Knowledge and expertise in areas such as nonprofit leadership, business, marketing, veterinary care, or law.

• Fundraising skills and the willingness to connect us with potential donors and partners.

• Strong community connections and advocacy for animal welfare.

Board members help set the organization’s direction, ensure strong financial stewardship, and open doors for new opportunities. This is a working board—your active participation makes a direct difference in the number of animals we can save.
